Green Architecture
When compared to the United States, Europe's history preceded the birth of Jesus Christ. To date, I have only visited England once and absolutely loved being there. The history course with Larry Wodehouse was enjoyable and even more appreciated while walking around and viewing the fantastic architecture.
Early building construction in England and the United States used natural material. Beautiful, majestic stone was used for public and private structures. En route to the Tor, I watched tanned and very athletic workmen repairing a thatched roof, another natural material.
L5 Design's work with green architecture included advising attendees at lectures; students; clients, and applications in our own personal life. For the last thirty five years the work to improve the health of users and the environment has made it a lot easier to identify product toxicity.
I took a hazardous materials course and learned about the Material Safety Data Sheet, or MSDS, that lists the product descriptions and figures to help the researcher make an informed decision.

Completed or phased projects incorporate reduce, reuse, and recycle programs. Whether a home or an office, the use of a space is essentially planned as to how it would be "occupied", what moves in and out, produce and waste. Such planning never occurred to professionals or lay people before.
